Uckfield Town Council are thrilled to welcome all allotment plot holders from the town to the annual Allotment Conference, which takes place on Wednesday 11 September, starting at 7:00pm in the Civic Centre Uckfield’s Weald Hall.
The Conference, which is a major part of the Town Council’s calendar, presents updates on current allotment policies and news, and sees the prizes of the Allotment Competition being handed out.

There will also be speeches given by allotment holders and Andi Jaffray, the director of local environmental outreach project ‘We Grow’, as well as time for a Question and Answer session from the floor at the end.
Present at the event will be the Town Council’s Senior Administrative Officer, Rachel Newton, whose portfolio comprises allotment management. Alongside her will be Councillors, including the Town Mayor, Cllr. Karen Bedwell, and Allotment Reps from all five sites.
Tea and coffee will be available from the back of the hall throughout the event, which is expected to last an hour.
