The Town Council owns six bus shelters, one at Ringles Cross, two on the High Street, one on Eastbourne Road, and two on Lewes Road.
Attractive street furniture including planters, seating, and litter bins, plus the addition of summer floral displays, enhance the High Street.
If you are interested in obtaining a memorial bench in memory of a loved one, and wish this to be placed on Town Council land, further information is available here.
The majority of street lights in the town are the responsibility of East Sussex Highways, particularly on the main thoroughfares.
However, Uckfield Town Council owns approximately 192 street lights in various locations throughout the town which are maintained by East Sussex Highways on behalf of the Town Council.
